About How I work

     All cleaning services can also be combined with pet sitting services.

     I offer the choice of either your own cleaning products, or my own. You deserve to have your home cleaned how you'd like. So if you have products that work for you and your lifestyle, I understand completely. For those who prefer a more discreet service, it also means your neighbours won't be seeing me carrying all my supplies in and out of the house. Known allergens in my cleaning products include almond oil, so if you have a nut allergy I'd recommend we use all your cleaning products to be extra safe. 

     A walk-around must be completed prior to any confirmed booking. This is a chance to see if we are a good fit, we can walk around your home and discuss the sort of service you are after. Your initial 3 cleans will then be a trial period. We can fine tune routines & I'll ask for regular feedback to ensure you are happy with the standard of service. At the end of your trial period, there is no pressure for the service to continue. It is rare, but sometimes we might not gel, and that is absolutely fine. We both need to feel comfortable and this is a fuss free way of ensuring that. 

     A rough very guide to time;
>General Cleaning
-Bathroom 30mins
-Kitchen 30mins
-Hoovering 30 mins per level
-Dusting 5mins per room

>Project Cleans 2hrs per room (minimum)

-Please note this is a rough guide to help you, high traffic homes, those with multiple pets, small children, or lots of ornaments will take additional time. Some surfaces also take more maintenance.

I do a lot of research on cleaning products

General/ Maintenance Cleaning
-For General Cleaning I keep things eco-friendly. My main products are Minima, which I buy in 5L refills. I chose minimal after a lot of trial and error. I like the standard of clean provided, that my lungs don't feel funky after a days work, and that they're pet and child safe. 

As well as my core collection from Miniml, I always keep some Pink Stuff paste in to make scrubbing easy work. And I love Method for their Wood & Marble Polish. 


Monthly & Deep Cleaning

     I do wander away a little from my eco friendly preferences for deep cleans. Sometimes you need a bit of bleach, or some heavy duty limescale remover. I only use strong chemicals on deep cleans, and always ensure residue is rinsed away. 

Specialist Bits

     My main work hoover is a Henry Anti Allergy, clients with asthma has stated that he doesn't trigger their breathing problems like most other vacuums, so he must be doing something right. He has additional filtration, and a plethora of extra gadgets and attachments.

     I have a very fancy electric scrubber which makes light work of deep cleaning.

     Henry Wash provides a wet cleaning option for carpets & upholstery, I keep in neumatics carpet pre-treat, carpet wash, and their pet range. I also have some RSPCA wee away cleaner which can be used indoors or outdoors.
